Extracurricular

Pharmacy Club is a student-led community for exploring medicine and the science behind human health. I led weekly sessions covering topics across pharmacy and related scientific fields, making difficult concepts more accessible through presentations and hands-on activities. Beyond our regular sessions, I created educational materials that connected what we learned to real public-health concerns, including responsible medication use and health risks caused by climate change. The club provided a space for students to deepen their scientific knowledge while applying it to health issues that affect people in everyday life.

I oversaw the process of turning students’ ideas into published articles. My role began with planning topics, assigning articles, and setting publication schedules, then continued through the writing process as I reviewed drafts and provided feedback on organization and clarity. Alongside supporting other writers, I contributed my own articles and handled final edits before pieces were published on the club’s official website. This experience allowed me to take an active role in both the editorial and publication sides of student journalism.

Newspaper Club

As a Student Reporter for Herald Insight, I researched current social and global issues and wrote English-language articles grounded in credible, cited sources. I developed each article through research, drafting, and revision, with particular attention to accuracy, objectivity, and clear communication. Through regular contributions, I strengthened my ability to evaluate sources and communicate complex topics to a broader audience, while earning reporting certificates and awards for my work.
